United Airlines First to Charge for Food on Transatlantic Flights


United Airlines recently became the first major carrier to charge passengers for food on transatlantic flights. The airline is experimenting with the new charge on flights between Washington Dulles and Europe. Making the airline even more unpopular... No hot meals. It's food boxes for you. On a happy note, many foreign carriers are still very generous with free hot meals and alcohol.
